Belmont Inn and Suites

We booked the jacuzzi room. HIDDEN GEM! Room was huge, clean, PRIVATE . Room is in back of hotel first floor with virtually no other rooms on any side but 1 . Jacuzzi was huge with ambient lighting which created a very romantic atmosphere . Also located on a beach corner , no heavy traffic . Very friendly staff , gentleman had our room setup with towels , soaps, air conditioning set on arrival. Very welcoming and romantic. Who knew a place like this existed off the beaten path and without having to deal with going into city to a larger hotel and crowds. PERFECT ROMANTIC WEEKEND GETAWAY FOR A COUPLE ! Will definitely book again.

Mostly quiet. If rooms are available, may get a free upgrade. Male owner very nice. In all, very pleased.

Unfortunately, we didn't know they offered breakfast, and our ride came very early a.m. And we checked out...I loved the snowy view of the Chesapeake River.... I would stay there again, the Mexican restaurant next door was a plus, especially since we weren't driving and didn't know the area.

Hidden little gem. Good location convenient for fishing.

Great place to stay. Great location. My only 3 recommendations. 1 change the towels they had rips in them or were ready to break. 2 change the sheets it was a "smoking room" me and my wife do not smoke but it was the only available with the jacuzzi, the sheets had holes in them, 3 Chand and replace light bulbs some were not working or not there at all. But overall good stay. You'll be about 40 minutes away from VA Beach. There are also a couple of nice restaurants near by. I did not take any photos but it was great.
